This version has many mechanical upgrades compared to the standard model. This is the only model with a standard four-wheel drive. You can expect some serious hardware as this is an off-road model. There are many off-road options, such as an electronically locked rear differential, an off-road suspension with higher ground clearance, upgraded dampers, skid plates, and tow hooks. This model also includes a spray-in bed liner and larger off-road tires.
The interior of the 2023 Chevy ColoradoZR2 will not be any different from other models in this lineup. The interior layout of the Colorado ZR2 is identical to standard models, despite the unique color scheme. The design is the same as the original launch in 2012 and has not changed. It isn’t very stylish. The cabin looks old, and most of its components are made of hard plastics or other low-rent materials. It looks sturdy enough to withstand years of abuse.

Base models will continue to have a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces around 310 horsepower and 270 pounds-feet torque. As we mentioned, the engine is paired up with an 8-speed auto, which transmits power to all four wheels.
A diesel version of the 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 is also available. We are referring to the 2.8-liter turbodiesel that produces 181 horsepower and 369-pound feet of torque. This engine is not like the V6. It comes with a 6-speed auto transmission. This engine is very torquey, making it great for off-roading. This engine is also capable of towing very well, but this model can’t take advantage of its full potential due to the 4WD layout and offroad suspension.

The 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 is expected to hit the markets sometime in the fourth quarter of 2019. The Extended Cab model should cost around 42.000 dollars. Crew Cab models will run around 43.500 USD.
